The front of each card features a U.S. map showing the location of the featured state, their nickname, and in what order they entered the union. The back of each flash card features a state map with the capital city marked, a fun fact about the state and the state’s abbreviation, bird, flag, flower and statehood date. The flash card set includes instructions and tips for the teacher or parent, along with suggested activities. Each card has a hole in the top corner, allowing cards to be grouped with a ring or string to help with organization and storage.
